About the Exterior

The WARRA features a rustic exterior Weathertex Selflok Ecogrove Natural cladding. Weathertex only uses PEFC certified state forest or private hardwoods from controlled sources. The logs are chipped, pulped and pressed with 3% natural wax to make Australian eco-friendly, timber products that are completely natural with no chemical additives.

Weathertex has gone through a rigorous evaluation from Global GreenTag to determine the “green performance” of its products and the Natural range is the FIRST MANUFACTURED PRODUCT GLOBALLY to receive GreenTag Platinum certification with a GreenRate Level A.

All of this provides a modern form with a typically Australian palette of materials.

Doors and windows are carefully located to maximise cross-ventilation, all walls and roof are well insulated, and our durable and low-maintenance cladding and flashing is installed meticulously to ensure the house retains a watertight seal at all times.

A huge, framed window is featured at the rear of the Tiny House for long views out. We only use quality G. James Windows and Doors as standard and all doors and windows are located to maintain long clear sight lines across and through the space for a more open feel. Many optional extras are available including awnings, a deck and site setup.
